Building & Pest Inspection
from $450.00 +GST
Our building and termite inspections are completed in accordance to Australian standards 4349.1. Our building inspectors are experienced, licensed & insured.
The building inspection involves a visual inspection of all parts the interior and exterior of your property to detect safety hazards, major defects, minor defects and general maintenance.
Our timber pest inspections across Australia are done in accordance to Australian standards 4349.3 - 2010. The timber pest inspection involves a thorough visual inspection of the interior, including the roof void and sub-floor where access is possible, and exterior of the property for active termite.

New Home Inspection

Before handing over large sums of money to your builder you have the right to ensure that each stage of the building works is completed to contractual standards with a new home inspection, or also referred to as a pre handover inspection report.

Dilapidation Inspection Report
from $450.00 +GST
A dilapidation inspection report with APBI seeks to document the condition of a property adjoining the works prior to any demolition and commencement of construction.
The report will itemise each defect found and include a photo of each. An Australian Property & Building Inspections (APBI) inspector will report on all internal and external areas and where required, the council assets.
The dilapidation inspection report is a useful tool in defence if any claims are made by the owner of a neighbouring property for damage they believe your building works have caused.

Pre-Auction Inspection

A pre-auction building inspection report, completed by an Australian Property & Building Inspection accredited and qualified inspector, will be carried out in accordance with AS4349. 1-2007.
The report will provide pre-purchase advice regarding the state of the property at the date and time of the inspection.

Pre-Sale Inspection

A pre-sale building inspection report completed by a certified Australian Property & Building Inspections building inspector and carried out in accordance with AS4349. 1-2007.
The report will provide a buyer advice regarding the state of the property at the date and time of the inspection.

Pest & Termite Inspection

Pests and termites can cause thousands of dollars of damage to the structure of a building if they are not identified and then managed by an experienced professional.
Our qualified pest and termite inspectors across Australia carry out each inspection in accordance with timber pest inspections AS4349.3.
The pest & termite inspection will test a property for pests and termites. The inspection also includes a visual inspection of the garden to identify areas susceptible to good breeding conditions.

Some home inspections take less or more time depending on the degree of accessibility and depending on the number of defects found.
We then prepare the report and liaise with the client on the findings.
24 hours notice must be provided to cancel a booked property inspection. Once the property inspection has been completed payment must be made prior to a report being emailed or posted. No refunds will be available once an inspection has occurred.
