Daniel Leahy is employed with Australian Property and Building Inspections conducting inspections in the Sydney Metropolitan region. APBI is a national provider of building inspection services.

Our fully-insured team is made up of experienced members of the building and construction industry who collectively provide countless building inspections across Australia every day. With offices located across the country, in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania, Northern Territory and South Australia our inspectors are well placed to cater to all inspection needs. We are also the national provider of building inspection reports for the Foxtel show Selling Houses Australia now in its eleventh season. Each conducted by one of our team of professional building inspectors.

Building inspector must comply with Australian Property and Building Inspection code of conduct. 
Each inspector employed is required to comply with each state legislative requirements that regulate or govern inspectors in the performance of building inspection functions, inspectors must:

• Hold a current building trade qualification, or industry equivalent;
• Be able to prove 10 years building and construction experience;
• A working knowledge of their relevant state building code, for example in Victoria it is Building Act 1993;

If carrying out asbestos inspections, a building inspector must have a through knowledge of asbestos and comply with all applicable legislation relating to asbestos relevant to their particular state, for example in Victoria refer to www.asbestos.vic.gov.au

Daniel is a qualified carpenter with over 10 years experience as a builder. Daniel has superior knowledge of the New South Wales’ building codes and regulations including the Building Act 1993.

He is an expert inspector for the stage inspections on your new house, town house or apartment you may be building. Brendan is also very well qualified to complete inspections for existing properties that you are looking at purchasing or selling and require a building inspection to assist with the sale.

Brendan is a licensed builder registered and holds the following qualifications and certificates:

• Certificate 1V in Architectural Technology
• Pre-purchase Inspection Report and Writing

As with all our inspectors Daniel holds a National Police Check certificate and is covered with APBI for Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
